The new documentary produced by Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi will be available exclusively on Disney+ starting November 29.

Beatles ’64 records the electrifying moment The Beatles visited the United States for the first time. Featuring never-before-seen footage of the band and the groups of young fans who helped propel their fame, the film offers the rare opportunity to see the moment they became the most influential and beloved band of all time.
On February 7, 1964, The Beatles arrived in New York City and were greeted with unprecedented enthusiasm and euphoria. From the moment they landed at Kennedy Airport, where thousands of fans were waiting for them, Beatlemania swept New York and the entire country. His exciting debut on The Ed Sullivan Show It attracted more than 73 million viewers, and was the most watched television event of the time. Beatles ’64 presents the spectacle, but also reflects a more intimate behind-the-scenes story, showing the camaraderie between John, Paul, George and Ringo as they experienced unimaginable fame.
The film includes unpublished images from pioneering documentary filmmakers Albert and David Mayslesrestored in 4K by Park Road Post in New Zealand. The sound mixes of The Beatles’ live performances at their first US concert, at the Coliseum in Washington, DC, and their appearances on The Ed Sullivan Showwere remastered using de-mix technology by WingNut Films and remixed by Giles Martin. Highlighting this cultural moment and the resonance it continues to have today, the music and images are complemented by new interviews with Paul and Ringo, as well as fans whose lives were transformed by The Beatles.
