Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but is forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts appear to him on Christmas Eve and lead him through his Past, Present, and Future. Music by Broadway heavy hitters Alan Mencken and Lynn Ahrens breathes new life into this classic tale.
Review: SISTER ACT at Theatre Memphis
What did our critic think of SISTER ACT at Theatre Memphis? For those of an older generation, did you ever look back at sitcoms from the 1970’s and wish they were set to music? Did you ever wish Fred Sanford (from “Sanford and Son”) or Squiggy (from “Laverne and Shirley) broke out into song to better share their deeper wants and desires?

Review: DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Connor Palace
Dear Evan Hansen at Connor Palace is a top-ranking musical drama that highlights social anxiety, suicide, family angst, and teenage drug addiction. Based on real-life incidents, it explores the complexities of mental health and societal investigation. With a pop-contemporary musical theatre sound, it is a must-see musical for those interested in boundary-pushing storytelling.
Review: DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Washington Pavilion
What did our critic think of DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Washington Pavilion? The touring production of DEAR EVAN HANSEN opened on Thursday, April 18th in the Mary Sommervold Hall at the Washington Pavilion with the preshow sounds of social media alerts and a visual array of platforms streaming via projections on a stage with 25 foot panels that also moved throughout the show to create the scenes of this complicated, emotional story of a young man caught up in a heartbreaking lie.

Review: DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Paramount Theater
Powerful, touching, and painfully relevant, DEAR EVAN HANSEN sweeps into Seattle for another run. With haunting melodies, a tight cast, and a modern digital set, the show continues to be the right story at the right time. The messages of love and loss, lies and misunderstanding, and of loneliness and connection are even more poignant for our post-pandemic world. It is a night of theater that reminds us of what really matters and that we are all in this together. What did our critic think of DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Paramount Theater?
Review: DEAR EVAN HANSEN at the Eccles Theater is Filled with Palpable Emotion
The last time the national tour of DEAR EVAN HANSEN played at the Eccles Theater, in March 2020, its run was cut short as the world shut down due to coronavirus. Now it's back for those who missed it and the lucky ones who get a second viewing. Filled with emotion that's almost palpable, the musical provides an experience that is deeply moving.

Review: DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Eisenhower Theatre At The Kennedy Center
Catch the national tour of the six-time Tony Award winning musical on the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Stage through September 25th.
REVIEW: DEAR EVAN HANSEN Hits Philly Right in the Feels
Dear Evan Hansen will pour your heart fit to overflow and then spend an hour eyedroppering it over the brim. The Tony-hoarding show has juggernaut bones and design. Despite less-than-lustrous vocal performance from greenhorn show star Anthony Norman, the touring cast does it earnest justice with stand-out acting from all cast members.
Review: DEAR EVAN HANSEN at National Arts Centre
What did our critic think of DEAR EVAN HANSEN at National Arts Centre? The opening night performance of Dear Evan Hansen at the National Arts Centre lacked some of the buzz that was palpable at Hamilton a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps that was because of pent-up excitement for Hamilton following two years of pandemic-related delays or maybe it's because Hamilton is still widely considered one of the hottest shows around. Normally there would be a bigger gap between shows, but thanks to the pandemic, Broadway Across Canada's 2021-2022 season has been condensed into a shorter time frame (Aside: not that I'm complaining - the more shows, the better, if you ask me). The beautiful thing about Broadway shows is that no two shows are alike, and the audience can appreciate each on its own merit.
Interview: Nikhil Saboo and Pablo David Laucerica of DEAR EVAN HANSEN at Ottawa's National Arts Centre
Nikhil and Pablo shared some insightful thoughts on their characters and reflections on the show’s key themes
