We know that although Legendary weapons are cool, they can be hard to acquire. Because of that, we have only included two Legendary swords on this list. The other swords on this list will be easier to acquire, and will not take as many resources. Additionally, keep in mind that there are dozens of sword skins available; if you don't feel any of the skins on the list really speak to you, then we recommend searching through the wardrobe tab of the Bank to find one that's just right.
10 Gallant Sword
First up, we have the Gallant Sword. Many weapon skins in Guild Wars 2 are complex and involve some bright colors, but the Gallant Sword feels like a classic. This classic sword gets right to the point without all the unnecessary decorations and effects.
This sword can be acquired from the Black Lions Weapon Box, or purchased from the trading post for around 77 gold. If you are looking for a classic and knightly sword, then the Gallant Sword is the skin for you.
9 Infinite Light
Next, we have Infinite Light. This bright sword is bound to stand out, bringing a pop of light to your style. Infinite Light still maintains the classic sword shape without going too over the top with effects.
This sword can be made by adding the following materials to the Mystic Forge:
- 1x Eldritch Scroll
- 100x Mystic Coin
- 250x Charged Lodestone
- 250x Orichalcum Sword Blade
You can also purchase this sword for around 450 gold at the trading post. If you are in search of an ethereal sword, then check out Infinite Light.

Although this sword looks quite expensive, it will only cost you around 90 gold at the trading post. This is a lot, but considering some skins cost hundreds of gold, this is a good deal. The Shimmering Aurora sword is a great addition to your wardrobe, especially if you are searching for a grand sword that looks fantastical.
7 Dreamthistle Sword
The Dreamthistle sword is a unique sword with a blade made out of mist. When the sword is not in use, the misty blade will fade, but once you grab the sword for combat, the blade will form. You can pick up this skin for around 50 gold at the trading post, as well as from a Black Lion Weapons Specialist. To get this skin from a specialist, you will need to trade Black Lion Claim Tickets.
6 Abyss Stalker Sword
The Abyss stalker Sword is another sword that can be acquired by trading tickets at the Black Lion Weapons Specialist. This futuristic-looking sword has an icy blue edge that creates a perfect accent. As you can see from the images above, the Abyss Stalker sword is also quite long compared to some of the other swords on this list.
If you do not have any Black Lion Claim Tickets, you can also purchase this sword skin from the trading post for around 50 gold.
5 Eternal Forged Sword
As part of the Eternal Forged Weapon collection, this sword really brings the heat. The Eternal Forged Sword is wrapped with bright fiery tendrils, giving this sword a dangerous appearance. When wielded, the sword will also create a steamy effect around the blade, indicating how hot it is.
You can pick up this sword from the trading post for around 150 gold. This sword skin was originally obtained from a Black Lion Weapons Specialist, but this vendor is not available anymore, so you will need to get it from the trading post.
4 Bolt
Bolt is the first of two Legendary swords on our list. This powerful and electrifying sword embodies a dragon, filled with the strength of storms. Legendary weapons take a lot of time and effort to obtain, but you can get Bolt by combining the following items in the Mystic Forge.
